01 / About me

i've shot over 300 weddings.
every couple still feels like the first one.

Hi, I'm Romi!

My professional journey has been a creative one. Graphic design, fashion photography, DJ sets and Love Stories. Weddings are where all of it came together. The art, the light, the emotion, the chaos. I found my passion in capturing love and I've never looked back.

I'm based in Toronto. I photograph weddings across Canada, the US, and internationally. South Asian multi-day celebrations, intimate elopements, destination work, and everything in between.

When you book romisaini, I'm your photographer. I'm the face you meet on the call, the one you text at 11pm when you're spiraling about the timeline, the one standing in the room when your ceremony starts. I personally edit every image in your gallery. Weddings are personal. Relationships matter. That's not a tagline. It's just how I work.

Presence isn't something I practice on your wedding day.
It's everything I've been building toward.

Every frame I make starts with one question: does this show who they are to each other? Not how they look. Who they are. If the answer is no, the light doesn't matter. The location doesn't matter. Nothing else does.

I'm not interested in directing people into a pose and calling it a photo. I want the real thing. The glance that happens before anyone notices. The hand that reaches without thinking. The exhale right before the vows. Those are the frames that last.

A wedding day is alive. It moves, it shifts, it surprises you. My job isn't to control it. It's to stay present enough to see it clearly when it happens. The best images come from being fully in the room, not managing it from a distance.

That's what I'm building toward every time I pick up a camera.

02 / FAQ

Things people ask.

  • Yes. When you book romisaini, I'm there on your wedding day. I'm the lead photographer, the point person, and the one behind every image in your gallery. From the first inquiry to the final delivery, you're dealing with me. No handoffs. No surprises.

  • Most couples book 12 to 18 months out, especially for summer and fall dates in the GTA. Destination weddings often book further ahead. If your date is coming up sooner, reach out anyway. I'll always let you know if I'm available.

  • Yes, and it's where a lot of my experience lives. Mehndi, sangeet, jaago, maiyaan, choora, the wedding ceremony, reception. I understand the flow of each event and what matters most in each one. Coverage for each event is available as an add-on.

  • I deliver in two stages. Your first gallery, 150 to 200 curated hero images, arrives within 3 to 4 weeks after your wedding. Your complete archive, organized by event, follows within 12 to 15 weeks. You won't be waiting months to see anything.

  • It starts with light. I'm obsessed with it. Outside, I want soft and natural, the kind of light that wraps around people instead of flattening them. Inside, I go direct and moody. Harder shadows, more drama, more truth. And then there's the fun stuff. Direct flash for the reception, the dance floor, the moments that deserve a little edge. Intentional blur for the ones where the feeling matters more than the focus. If it fits the moment, I'll use it. The camera always serves the story. Never the other way around.

  • Yes. About 20% of the weddings I photograph are destination work across Canada and internationally. Travel details are arranged between us when we confirm the booking. I handle my own logistics. You focus on your wedding.

  • Coverage starts at $6,500. Full pricing, including multi-day events and destination bookings, is something I walk through on a call because every wedding is different. Reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense for yours.

"Every single photo feels like a moment, not a photo. I don't know how to explain it. They just feel true."

Miruna & David · Destination
